Moscow will be flattened, says Belgian defence minister
Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken have said that if The Russian Federation ever seens missles towards Brussels, they would flatten (destroy) the Russian Capital of Moscow.
He also said, that The US is 100% commited to supporting Europe and NATO.

His also been very keen on rooting out Kremlin propaganda within the media and claims that Europe needs to stick together.

The Russians have issued the following statement about Francken.
"defiant and irresponsible"

What do you think? Would Moscow go poof, if they ever started to send missle towards the heartlands of Europe?

Actions matter more than words. putinist Russia has already sent planes or drones into the NATO territory and all that's happened was Article 4 meeting, and angry words pointed at putinist Russia. For now I think the most EU countries would do is send another angry letter to putin if the aggression escalated.

If you can just influence change via diplomacy, subterfuge or economic pressure.

You can be rather certain however, that if Russia (they would never do that) sent missles to heartslands of Europe, they would get smashed faster than they will get to send any nukes...
Drones are drones, hacking is hacking, all the subterfuge stuff.. is not really that much of a concern compared to actual distress.

I reckon it would happen earlier than that.

So, Belgium is making threats then immediately running and hiding behind the US like some mouthy little kid with a much bigger older brother. Just another example for why the US should leave NATO, and force these people to be more respectful to their neighbors rather than planning in advance for the US to bail them out.

Or even Trump the first time, when he told European leaders that Russia was not their friend and they should reduce their dependency on Russia for energy.

If the USA left NATO, we would be flattened faster than you can say 'roadkill'.

If you're in Europe, then I would agree.

Restarting nuclear testing is like the home alone kid using firecrackers to scare away the bad guys, only in this movie the bad guys have real guns and aren't falling for the tricks of a scared little boy.

It’s called a nuclear deterrent nobody would actually launch them in a hypothetical war. If one side fires, the Europeans would fire back, too. You don’t need 6,000 warheads like Russia has; about twenty would be enough to wipe out a nation. Here we’re talking about monetary and military power in a wartime scenario, and Russia wouldn’t stand a chance.

We don't even have a platform for our nukes. They're impotent. We might be able to use them to bully the blue states and some south American jungle nations, that's about it.
