Well, Miami is the closest U.S. city to Venezuela, so I guess they'd hear about it first.

We will have to wait and see what occurs. If accurate this is a huge development.
No source = not true
they recently had a large drug gang raid over there as well, lots of gun fights and stuff, but the drug gang was dealt a heavy blow.

Well, i'd ask you sir (the OP) did Trump run on this? Wasn't he the "Peace Candidate"?

And so he gets elected, and what does he do? Talks about taking over Greenland and the Panama Canal. Threatens Canada. Bombs Iran, continues to fund the war in Ukraine he promised he'd end, and if that's not good enough he bombs....Venezuela?

Sir, i have an out. I did not vote for these fraudsters this past elections. I voted for the COUCH.

And so to the extent Trumps lies have gotten him to 40% approval and losing the House, i thin k we ALL deserve an apology from our MAGA friends who tried to have us duped into LIES :steamfacepalm:
as i said in the other topic :

It is a possibility.
Convenient way to grab that oil.
Like the hunt for weapons of mass destruction.

It would be very foolish though.
If he is after the oil and to secure it he would have to bombard everything to dust and then clear the rubble and then set up fortifications and it would be at siege their bases.
The end of Nicolás Maduro’s regime in Venezuela is the same as the ending the Drug Cartels of Venezuela.
If somehow Venezuela can hit the deck of the Ford aircraft carrier they could put it out of service for years to repair the electro magnetic catapult.

Economics will say cartels will still exist unless Trump is supplying his own Drug Cartels with resources to defeat the others.
Hmm - i assume the military installations are run by the cartels and misused to produce drugs, no? Else they would need to say that they shoot back. That´s the way to do it. You need to to it on November 1st. And then do a broadcast: "Since 05:45 we shoot back!" The masses would applaud.

They are not a threat to the Carrier group, it is too well protected. They can track and engage hundreds of targets simultaneously.
Good thing that there is a Bastion now. Perhaps we shall see USA ships sinking this night!

I mean - the war on drugs was already seen as lost 20 years ago. Like - when did they declare it? 1920 or something? When they initially outlawed all kinds of stuff. And in 1970 or so it was officially declared. And nothing was reached ever since, despite all the actions which took place, including military, and burning stuff down.

The demand is huge and even when that demand is not wanted it is still there.
It is a demand that grows within the individual.

South America is the ideal place to grow and manufacture it for the forests and the economics of living.
The growers may not want to grow it but still have to.
Then you get the growers who do want to.

They (The bosses)have armed patrols constantly for rivals within those forests that are dangerous and well practised and live in the Jungle.

If Trump wants to win the war on Drugs he needs to fix the US first.
That is identifying the causes of want of the product.
Usually Economical decline.

I am not seeing him shout out about great new programs that will have billions invested for well trained and experienced people working with addicts.
And A great educaitonal program to teach on drugs and the effects they have on people.
Nor any real government project that will employ people to work and train up and feel valued - unless you count ICE.

You mean prison guards?

Addicts don't want help, nor do they have any capability for long term thinking. They only want more drugs.
