The problem is that one may more often desire to throw others out the door instead. When it's your space and door to begin with especially.

i reach for door handle, i hesitates in frightened uncertainty because i do not know if it is push or pull and i do not wish to embarrass myself. i stand there all jittery, the person behind me annoyed and confused. "uh hello, can you go in please?" they ask me.

"ah, sorry, of course." i respond, i reach for the door and pull and it opens. i dont believe it, was correct! in my excitement i yank the door open too quickly, and it flies backward and smacks the poor man behind me in the nose.

Doors are confusing because they sometimes turn into jars.

Also people need to learn to only have doors which open towards the outside. Sad that some aren´t able to apply this. I´m unsure how many people die every year because of it...
