i like watching caseohs reactions to stuff because i love the big goofball. i watch a fair amount of horror/rpg streamers on twitch and i enjoy seeing their reactions to playing games for the first time, its like i get to sort of experience that "first time" feeling all over again.

i recently watched a streamer i like named threedogg do his first playthrough of fear & hunger and i massively enjoyed seeing his reactions to various things

Won't waste time watching them. Might as well watch the actual content and have my own reaction.

It's some of the lowest effort trash out there. They just take other peoples content and record themselves pulling faces and then post it and monetise it. I despise it.

This is true, but that also makes it even more disgusting how low the bar is these days

Depends. I rarely watch shorts to begin with. Sometimes i would watch random reaction videos, or when they sound a bit ridiculous, like:

Another consideration is many of them are just parasites who are keyword spamming.

Basically, they look up keywords and the leach off of the work of others as they didn't create the source material.

Unless their commentary adds significant value they are nothing but a parasite.
