And Puerto Rico isn't the only US territory in the Caribbean either. We have Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and Navassa.

Puerto Rico should be happy, there will be a lot of money and equipment needed to maintain the fighters, and the local economy will see a slice of that money. I imagine anything major in repairs will still be sent to the mainland, but you still require crews and equipment for regular maintenance for specialized equipment.

When Trump says something he means it. Or rather, he means the opposite. In this case he said he has no plans for regime change in Venezuela. He shouldn't telegraph his intentions and give Maduro time to hide. Maduro has Epstein to blame.

It need favourable wind direction or you can hear it coming before it strikes because the f-35 is SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOUD! They fly over occassional here, I never bothered by f-16 but the f-35 makes you deaf for real.

For those who don't know, the US is an empire. Nothing new to Europeans whose territories extend to well beyond Europe.
