As for Epic Games? Haha-Hell no. Its either steam or GOG or other means for me. So PC over console.

Its probably because I always had a relatively weak PC back when I played on consoles more often, but now the tables have turned.

I have no interest in console gaming outside the odd times where I play something like a Switch with children/teens of the family.

I don´t buy a specific console to buy specific games.

The best thing consoles did was breathe new life into PC gaming. 12 years ago the gaming industry was writing off PCs because of the price of always having to upgrade hardware and bugs associated with different configs. But that all changed when the next generation of consoles failed to add significant improvements and performance.

Yes that's what they was made for just playing game's. I enjoy playing my Series X Ps5 Pro Switch 2 & PC.
Unless you have an 80series then console's are giving you a much better experience on these new AAA game's.
