Even if this is old by now, the fact that HL:A exists means that Valve hasn't forgotten about their flagship title and I imagine with how high expectations are, along with other projects they have, it likely still is being considered

People like you make me hate being a half life 2 fan. Wth do you mean HL2 episode 3??? It’s far too late for that they already have a new engine and to the point were in half life 2 the documentary they said no we are not making episode 3 it’s to late for that. Plus Alex basically retcons the ending of 2. It’s most likely they will make half life 3 then an episode 3.

All crazy type of stuff happened before GTA6, so its no far fetch if we get λ 3 until next year.
