I don't want to say anything bad about this profession, but when I imagined that I would have to repeat the same thing to students every year in lectures, I refused. It's so boring to give the same thing in lectures...
I've never been a teacher by title, but I can effectively explain and demonstrate anything I'm knowledgeable about.
I just don't have any interest in doing so and find it excruciating.
In my opinion that is just being a parrot.
Real knowledge is gained by interactions and sharing.
I'm talking about "interactions and sharing" lol...
Explanations and demonstrations occur within the context of an interaction; that's the literal process of teaching.
It's been a while since I've seen a semantic assumption so bizarre and incorrect at once. 😂
