Trouble finding new games that I like
I am finding it very difficult to find new titles that I want to purchase and play. All of the games that I am currently playing are older titles.

How has it been going for you guys?

I can't think of a single game I liked that released in the past 10 years.

Actually no, scratch that, Wasteland 3 released 5 years ago and I quite liked that. So that's 1.

I enjoy playing Valheim. It’s an indie game that is a mix of Dark Souls and Minecraft. It’s fairly new being released in 2021.
Gave up on bg3 again, now playing and enjoying Outer Worlds.

I have this too but my friends never really got into it.

New games are typically very uninspired crap. There's still gems out there but yeah it's getting increasingly more difficult to sift through the masses of garbage in order to find those gems.

I can understand why people don’t like it. It takes patience and can be punishing especially if you die and lose all of your items. But that’s why I like it. It’s slow paced, you can build anything you can imagine, and you’re a Viking!!! *warcry*

I have heard good things about Valhiem but I am not a fan of "souls like" games :(

I don’t even play Dark Souls and it’s a good game. You can do more than just swing a sword. You can fish, you can sail the seas, you can cast magic, and if swinging a blade isn’t your cup of tea then you can use a bow and arrow.

Try itch io
Given that I'm not rich enough to buy every game released. I always find something new to me even if it's a few year old
I wish there is an option to demo a game on steam. I know some games have them but not all. Would be nice tho.

I can't stop finding games I want to play.

I've never had a bigger wishlist on Steam, which may look small, but are games I'm guaranteed to play, let alone older games for PS3 and below.

I usually just play games I like. I am not actively looking for anything new.

How to find games you like without ever playing the game?
