I'm sure this isn't going to give some politician in the future of having an excuse to implement a digital footprint and self ID to use the internet thus making everyone who posts anything to be held accountable for basically anything that can potentially cause harm.

...You know for a fact that it's going to happen the question is when. Not how.
Cause I doubt the anonymous sh*tposters are going to gather enough real people to sign a petition when it's just them on multiple alternate accounts typing their name on a forum over and over again.

Yeah. I might be crazy for thinking that this might happen. But it's already starting and the excuses are becoming valid reasons and all we're doing is bickering at each other on topics that don't do anything productive or have any intriguing topics that everyone forgets in about 6-7 hours if it doesn't have politics, radical beliefs, news that is happening with law involvement or have any sex involved.

...I think there's a discussion topic on OT about someone talking about what is their favorite sandwiches are here somewhere.

If any of that happens it isn't because a politician is getting trolled on OT by someone with a private Steam account. A vast majority of the world does not care about this place let alone know it exists.

Why do ANY of you need to see my account?

I do not know you and the contents of my game library and what games I play are my business!

To many of ya all think you should access to other peoples information "just because".

Amen. I see no possible benefit in making my library or any personal information available to any crackpot out there because someone is "offended" by my private account.

imagine lumping in everyone with a private/friends only account, in with alts and people using them, to cause drama and discourse in the forums.

btw, private/friends only, shows level zero to anyone not on their friends list.

thinking we need to start forcing privacy on steam accounts, to many public accounts, giving incentive to phishing/scams, or stalking, harassment, ect.., we need to protect our steam community and get valve to disable having a public profile, maybe we can lower crime and rule breaking, amongst the steam platform.

Exactly and there are stalkers on steam. It is the same reason why many profiles on Facebook is private for this exact reason.

Let's be real here...some people keep their profiles level 0/private so people don't know it's them when they try to sockpuppet spam misinformation in political topics to push an agenda.

uhh, all i know is generally they're ten (10x) 10mg to a bag. nothing crazy. i will say they are incredibly soft, even more than Albanese gummi candies from a grocery store.
