I wouldn’t lightly recommend League of Legends. It will bring out the worst in you. I grinded to Master 2 back when I was in my prime and I aged in dog years.

Dota 2.

Riot Games (League of Legends creators) sold their souls to the chinese communist party (tencent) in 2011.

As a long time player of League. I haven't really played Dota 2, always wanted to try it, but then I realized you're stuck in games that are forty minutes plus with Russians yelling at you all match.

So there's no difference, one just has longer matches.

if you're starting out, play dota 2 for a few years.

once you manage to win at least 1 game out of 3 dota 2 games, you're good to switch.

using the dota 2 learned skills in lol, you'll be able to play jungler or top and basically carry any game upto master level
