i met a preacher in vermintide 2. he did not peddle god or any religion, but more just general life advices and positivity. i have never heard someone yap so much over mic before, i mean just endless, nonstop talking. definitely a bit off, but a kind guy. ended up playing with him many times, as vermintides community is pretty small on the highest difficulty, so you end up playing with a lot of the same folk.

We had one on Guild Wars 2 once and we all just started committing open blasphemy until he rage quit.

I remember someone saying afterward "I wasn't even involved and I think I'm probably going to burn in hell just because I was there. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, guys."

I had a roommate for a while who was an ordained minister. He and our other roommates at the time - the schizophrenic I went to high school with, and the Navy vet who got a medical discharge and thought I was a wizard trying to mind control him with hentai - played Mario Cart 64 once.

The rest of the time he was painting or talking about the Bible with other like-minded individuals at that adult group home. Years later he had a stroke and had to move in with his sister.

I hope he's doing alright.

Yeah there's Sermon bots that circulate the oceanic servers on CS2. They just play the audio from Youtube sermons, preaching about the good word. it's pretty funny honestly
