Why would you rob the bodies of animals of all the nutrients they have? Don't they want to live too? What makes any one mammal on this planet better than any other?

Humans are omnivores i get you want to ignore that fact in favor of the idea humans are herbovores with wrong diet problem is we over eat meat we should limit. But in children meat is actually important for b12 wich plants dont have enough of to meet requirement

in the end of the manga gantz, the god aliens lecture humanity about their narcissism for believing themselves to be the most worthy species on their planet, and believing their lives hold more value than other species on the planet. they mention disrespect for the creatures they share the planet with, and the aliens show humans how not special their lives are by bringing back to life several dead main characters, and then killing them again. not out of cruelty, but to show that by reducing them to basic carbon components they are just an amalgam of building blocks like all other things. and that humans are not special, nobody is.

not really making any kind of argument with this comment, just i enjoy this part of the story and it is relevant to the thread.
