A Trillion $ vs Time Travel
You can have $1 Trillion U.S. dollars tax free, or you can travel to the past to any 10 time destinations purely as observers and can spend a maximum of 4 hours per destination.

Which would you choose?

1 trillion$$

time travel is only useful if i can observe nice info and i can get advantage from that, but anyway if i cant prove it happen it become pointless, but maybe if i can find jesus, mahomet, budha grave it may be good info, but i dont think i can prove it is them and even if i can sell info it not going to worth 1 trillion $$

so if alien let nice technology on earth in the past or atlantis really exist or reptile build civilization on earth or martian build civilization on mars, i take time travel and do my best to prove it happened and exist, if i cant or if it never happen i take one trillion $$
i'm not smart enough to understand the implications of time paradoxes and the observer effect, so i just take the trillion and hire a really good financial advisor.
I'd take the trillion. I could probably get somebody to put together a dodgy timemachine if I felt like it at a later date.

dont think you have enough time in your life to spend this full trillion $$$ except if you gamble it
In any scenario in which this choice is available, I can probably build myself a better time machine with one trillion dollars

Question about being an observer, am I able to be observed?
I'm taking one trillion dollars.

Cause time travel is confusing and stupid as hell.
The thought of going back in time to a point of being able to change something to be better sounds nice at first.

Then you realize all the consequences that come with it when going back to any point in time and a single minor change like slightly moving a chair can cause a butterfly effect that drastically changes the future.

...And when you're trying to analyze of all of it... something is bound to break regardless of what you do.
Even if you did just observe... you realize you can break a LOT of things in the future with the knowledge at hand right?

Might as well take the money and not worry about some convoluted broken as hell system.
Cause you can't change your past but you can make your own the future from it.
...Also someone is bound going to do the same to you in order to mess your future and eventually it'll become a paradox war.

...Only problem is what i'm going to spend it on.
I guess might as well try to break the entire TF2 economy by buying every copy of the most scarce and rare items.

Cause the economy is already screwed regardless what I do.

Give me the money, even if I could see stuff from the past no one is going to believe me anyways. There just doesn't seem to be any benefit in time traveling that way.

in this imaginary scenario, i'd probably just try and take care of my family at first and try and get some sorts of charitable organizations going, especially to do with education and mental health, but it's all just imaginary anyway. 🤷
