🤲 Prayers can actually work in videogames🙏✝️
I have tried praying in real life. It did not work.
I have also tried praying while playing a videogame. It did actually work!

EDIT:
Being able to pray is a gift.

Yep. I noticed this in FTL especially, the amount of scrap it gives me reflects whatever I've been thinking about. Oxygen Not Included is closer to a torture simulation, but if I focus on it I don't have to reroll many times before it gives me a science +10 or 11 duplicant. Sometimes it screws with you and gimps them somehow, like it'll have them output methane, but you can just reroll again because it's so reliable. The one that pisses me off the most is when it gives you a really good digger but pairs it with the unconstructive trait, so they can dig but not build. Haven't found a way to bypass that behavior.
yeah, it works when you have Cleric or Paladin in party ;)

Idk I prayed a lot to try and catch suicune in pokemon crystal as a kid and that never worked but happy for you. Maybe I just didn't pray hard enough. :gk_cross:
This is true, even in physical games.
I can pretty consistently get pointless ♥♥♥♥ to happen, like drawing a specific card, or rolling the right number on dice, just by wishing for it.

But as soon as there are any tangible stakes, or the outcome might result in anything remotely important happening, poof, superpower gone. Unfortunately it's way, way beyond the warranty window at this point; probably would've had to do that when I was 4.

Why does prayer always get lumped in with Christendom? Prayer goes back even before the Egyptians. Prayer is the oldest form of faith, religion known. Even pagans prayed.
