I don't think many of we yanks realize that we do have a lot of influence in the world.

And so of course people are going to be interested in our entertainment, politics etc.

We just need to emphasize, we can't pay for everything. We can't fight for everything, and there comes a time they have to do things for themselves.

The US is the center of the universe though. There's only a handful of countries that matter, China, Russia, America. Everyone else's politics is dominated by whatever those three do, so of course those three are going to be the ones that get talked about.

My country instituted nationwide hosepipe bans to save water because California had a drought despite the fact our reservoirs are continuously full and we do not even use the aquifers.
