Sounds like commie talk.
Well i have 3 computers because I'm always building new ones and none of them have anything wrong with them, They work perfectly, Just there's faster hardware out there.
instead of getting penny's for them I keep them and my dad uses one and i use the other two for my steam accounts.
My xbox360 is just for Forza motorsport 2 which i can't play any other way.
they're still out there.
also scored a dreamcast with 4 controllers, 2 VMUs and some awful basketball game for under $20 at a goodwill some years back. it's not reading discs anymore, unfortunately, so that's a project i may try later.
This.
Nice 1. I also found a dreamcast back in the day. It did turn on, disc spun up, VMU registered with the system but it had a dead black screen. I looked online and found out it needed new capacitors around the video port area. So I recapped the whole thing and the video signal came back. Hope this information helps someone out there.
It could also be a DAC issue, you can get new ones last I checked. It also helps to have a multi-meter and to check the values on all the components to make sure everything is working correctly.
Right now I mostly use my high-end gaming PC- but I also have a retroid pocket 5 that gathers dust and a STeam deck that I have hooked to my second monitor for OSRS
