a terrible what-if?
what if instead of walking we ambulated by way of sliding our epidermis across our musculoskeletal structure, essentially moving like tank treads do, but with your skin?

i'm really tired and having trouble getting to sleep cuz it's too hot and that thought popped in my head for some reason and i thought i'd share it with you all because otherwise i might have just forgotten it and what a crime that would be, eh? :sleepyjill:

that seems like it would make bandages pretty useless. it would also make it really easy to get dirt in one's wound(s) and have them be infected. better be careful with that athame from now on.

Reminds me of Parallel Monsters from V/H/S Viral in terms of "wouldn't that be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up or what?" lol people say that is the worst one in the series but that short cemented itself into my mind.
