U.S. is truly lost it seems. Flag burning is protected by the Constitution.

Didn't the judicial branch just confirm that its very legal? Yeah, its still horrible, but the Supreme Court reaffirmed our right to do it.
Now if an illegal immigrant was to burn our flag they'd get deported immediately. If they get an extra year in jail thats just icing on the cake.

What if the only thing you had left was a US flag and a lighter in the midst of an "ICE Age"?
Would you wear it to stay warm for days and days, or burn it as kindling to start a camp fire for an indefinite amount of time?

There has been no word from SCOTUS or any federal judge since the EO was signed.

Well, there has been a word from SCOTUS, but that was back in 1989.

The only instances of those arrests are when the flag is stolen from someone or from a business. Which is illegal with the American flag also.

I did try to find evidence on prosecutions of vandalism against pride flags and all I could come up with were ones that did involve theft and slurs and even arson damage so I suppose you got me on this account. Even the people who vandalized lgbt crosswalks only got charged with mischief and reckless driving
