sure even if you don't believe that stuff it's a good community
I wouldn't say it will be a magical fix but it always helps to have community, especially if you're away from home. At the very least if you're interested, you should give it a try and see how it feels. If it doesn't feel right you don't have to keep going.
I was in a bit of a depression during the beginning of covid and it stayed that way for like 4 years and I'm still a bit sad, but I go to church now and I have OT, so I feel like both of them helped. I'd recommend you go if you want to.
I've been an atheist for most of my adult life, but if there's one thing I miss about the church, it's the sense of community. You can find that elsewhere, but if you feel comfortable going to church, even though you might be a non-believer, then go for it.
Only if you enjoy cults and indoctrination. Maybe they'll offer you the "special punch".
You can if you want but I wouldn't. It just seems like a bad idea because of the cultural differences. It's based on 2000 year old middle eastern people. It's ancient history, maybe fun for LARPing or something, which is what most of the Bible people on OT seem to be doing.
If you can find commonality with those in that community that you can bond over (such as shared interests or hobbies) that can be beneficial, so it doesnt hurt to at least try it out, but if it makes you feel uncomfortable and doesn't mesh with your identity, then you can stop going
