their corpses will gradually decompose and get consumed by insect larvae. not the bones though, they don't eat bones. the bones will probably just lie there for a good few moths until they sink into a puddle of mud and disappear from sight. so ye, nothing too exciting.

There is an institute that studied this. They interviewed thousands of people with hospital records of dying for a significant amount of time and coming back. Every one of them had experiences that matched identically.

They said the worst moment of their existence was when they were told that they had to return here.

They described the world like this one, but with brighter colors and more clear. They explained it was real life and we are in the dead version of life. They said you can travel space and time easily by your will. They have support groups, but not for what they went through, but for the pain of having to be back here.

Theres a documentary on this. 'Surviving Death' episode 2. I wasnt that interested in the other episodes personally but they were ok.
