What's a weird, cheap, simple little luxury that improved your life or knowledge.
I used to be shocked how people had never heard of a certain country, or don't know how big their own country is or relative distances between one spot and another ... until it dawned on me.

Most people have never actually seen a globe, let alone owned one.

At first I thought...nah what's one small app could do but what the hell, it's cheap. Might get fooled once.
Then I try it on low end PC and this damn thing is whoaaaa.

And not just games, it works even on film, emulator, whatever that rely on framerate.

This might sound goofy, but small habits. They're not a thing, but you tend to perform them with things. Like never going to bed with dishes in the sink. Those kind of small habits add up to a much happier and healthier lifestyle. They don't take much effort when done "off the cuff" either.

Bestseller book Atomic Habits addressed this.
Electric toothbrush for an object.

Cool, but I think you're in the minority. There's an entire genre of Youtube videos of European people shocked that the US is the same size as their continent.

There's a joke in an old episode of The West Wing where the characters are shocked how big Africa really is (and how small Greenland is) because they only saw it on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Mercator maps. I think that was the first time I realized normal people don't care about geography.
Booze
Milwaukee Fastback box cutter / screwdriver
I am in a really foul mood right now.

Things like this help to pull me back:

Having a balloon to bat around or hug, or just brighten up the room, is one of the simplest of simple pleasures in life, and can do wonders for mental health.

Damn Qualatex for discontinuing the Q24. The parent company going out of business serves them right.
