Eru(illuvatar) is the one who manufactured Bilbo finding the ring and the one who ultimately had Gollum trip into MT DOOM.

Gandalf is an Angel. A Maiar spirit sent by the Valar to protect Arda from Morgoth- the valar that turned Evil and spawned all the bad things in life.

The men of Gondor actually have a tradition where they turn to Elf Home ( Valinor) before every meal- to pay respect to their creator.

Boromir is a sad story. He wanted to be King of Gondor. Captain of his people that he loved.
His house served as stewards. Never kings.
The throne was waiting for the true king, a Dúnedain. Someone descended from Elves, the first people.

He was betrayed by his own ambition and manipulated by the ring. His death is a tragedy, one of many that Sauron and Morgoth brought upon Middle-Earth

Just asking, but why assume Christianity is the path of light. Why claim Christ as your king if he did not save you from it?

Christ did save me. Declaring Christ as my king has turned my entire life around. I got off drugs. Stopped seeing women that already had boyfriends. Made manager. Got my drivers license .

I thank God every day for protecting me from the things in this world that wanted to drag me down.

I mean... it doesnt sound like he did anything. It sounds like you did those things. "I quit seeing other guys girlfriends" is something you do on your own. "I got my drivers license." also doesnt sound like a thing that a divine hand reached down to do but you did. Im just saying from my point of view, not trying to influence. Just talking.
