Usually those who just talk and not play games are the ones stirring up crap and baiting arguments all the time. Not always but usually.

Those that seem to require the biggest spotlight are often moderated heavily.

Imagine not even knowing someone, yet already landing on their “ignore” list. If so, it says a lot more about them than it does about you. I’ve always steered clear of heated debates; I’m not the sort of person who leaves you feeling like you’ve been splattered with mud after a conversation.

Imo spotlight isn't given, it's earned. Neither veterans nor rookies have any say in what others think of them. it's no ones choice whether or not they're acknowledged, the best you can do is try.
