Way better than LanMan
I like a bit of old stuff too.
Crippled Avengers
5 Deadly Venoms
36th Chamber of Shaolin
Im more into Chambara films though. Zatoichi, Lone Wolf & Cub, and anything with Toshiro Mifune. Musashi 1,2,3 are my favorites.
There were a few that sorta blended the two, like Shogun's Ninja with Sonny Chiba.
Thats whats up. The other real martial arts movie. His wing chun wasnt pure, and he was more of a celebrity like Bruce Lee, very basic techniques nothing advanced, often defeated. But still a great guy, hard not to love, and authentic mixed gong fu style.
start with the classics
Kung Fu(the movies) and Kung Fu The Legend Continues(TV series)
Kung Pao: Enter the Fist
The Matrix
Kung Fu Hustle
Kill Bill
Also nobody mentioned Crouching Tiger(Hidden Dragon)
The 'Miyagi' riddle movies like those are the most real too.
Other favorites:
Drunken Cat's Paw
7 Grandmasters
5 Deadly Venoms
One Armed Boxer and Master of the Flying Guillotine
Shaolin vs Lama
Iron Monkey
Once Upon a Time in China series
Tai Chi Master
Ip Man
Shaolin vs Ninja
Magnificent Warriors
Eight Diagram Pole Fighter
