Banned from discord for being helpful?
I dont know where to post this but, I was enjoying the game had began coding mods for it, and interacting with the discord community, I shared a host link, to a cheap host, I was not advertising etc I will note also that I do not own a hosting company.. Several people in the discord are trying to local host for 2-3 players, and running in port forwarding issues, there are vps hosts that can host this sort of thing for like $15 a year. I was just trying to be helpful and got banned somehow. My discord username is Enzonami, if you feel like maybe that was a bit much. Moving on.

Did you check to see if it was against the rules to send a hosting website? some don't like that being shared because sadly the discord hack problem. A lot of discords im in don't allow that because of that very hack. so thinking of it on that view point it makes sense. people lose a lot over that hack not just their discord sadly.

Then why not disable links? Better yet, why not warn someone? The hack you're speaking of is a total figment of your imagination also. It doesnt exist.

Why would you need a separate hosting service for just playing with your friends? The game lets you make a local game right in the game.

Not everyone has the ability to port forward.

what? sorry but ... you need to port forward?
i just played the game with my friend without the need to open any port. your router on which you´re hanging must be really strict ... and probably for reasons.
i´d assume you´re not over 18 and your PC hangs on ya parents router.
otherwise could i not explain myself why you wouldnt be able to access said router and open a port ... even though it isnt needed.

the way how you reply makes me thinking if you really got banned for "being helpfull" or if you wrote it in a rude way with additional offensive lines which then got you probably banned.

typically a person who hides their account info...

Is typically a person I wouldn't trust... or believe.
the devs probably panicked because they have some sort of deal with a big hoster like nitrado to host their servers xD

They were banned for arguing and insulting people after they linked the server host.
This is why it's important to read the rules of a discord before talking.

You did this to yourself.

Clearly you know nothing about the hack that is going around and mocking people who have seen it happen to others. So.. its kind of a you problem now. When you join a discord THE first thing you should always do IS read their rules. why should they warn people when its most likely already clearly stated. Your just angry cause you skipped the rules and thought you knew better when clearly you didn't. All your doing is insulting people who are trying to tell you basic things in rules and what has been going around for well over 2 years now..So when it all comes down to it, Not the admins or mods fault you can't read. :D maybe learn to read basic server rules. ALSO here is some lights on the VERY real hacks going on there are a few The "Accidental Report" Scam is very well known idk how you think its fake then the The "Free Nitro" Scam is another that is very real and still around today. QR Code Scams is a newer one going around and the big bad Malicious Files were a friend gets hacked and sends you a message to look at a game that is a backdoor to your discord/pc. so please again tell me how its all fake when its very real and is happening to people still today.

I really understand why.. they are fighting people here to.. block and move on is the best option to people like this. Everything is fake and nothing is their fault lol.

How QR scam is a new one? Any QR code is shady crap that you should never try to open, on par with link shorteners.
you got banned from discord. consider yourself free. Now you need to break free from OT.
