-The person in question later died from the police who did not need to be there, who aggravated an already calm situation and who had ignored everything including common sense / reality of the situation and real time information from the people around them.

I find I offend people while being straight to the point with them and later confused at their strange behaviour.
But generally speaking I do not try to offend people, other times i offend people is when I am having a joke and expecting others to join in for a bit of back and forth banter.

Sorry to break it to you like this...

I found responding to a serious emotional concern with, basically, sardony, pretty offensive.

Don't feel bad about it if you do when that happens, its hard to tell when somebody is joking or the intent behind what they say online i mean <3

Mostly it was the act of taking a pretty serious issue and playing it off as a dismissive cosmopolitan fraud, the character you were roleplaying as.

I'm not roleplaying a fake character; it's my real emotions. You see the disconnect, perhaps?
