You ever notice that from top to bottom, from politicians to nobodies like you and I, right wingers are giddy and gleeful to talk about actual political violence against their OWN BASE, just because it furthers their narrative that all leftists are just ticking time bombs waiting to go off or whatever. Very little mourning, very little genuine feelings for the affected family, it's like the person's death takes a backseat to whatever they can do to attack their enemies.

At least when leftists politicize deaths they do it in the name of finding a way to prevent it. The most common example being calling for gun control after every shooting (stupid as that is).

I wouldn't say using deaths to promote harm reduction is the same as using deaths to fan the flames of political division.
