When an intel n150 is around ~$130 today everything inclusive, old hardware is purely museum novelty.

Experts could still turn old PC's into linux gaming machines or even browsing PC's.
Sometimes it's more economical to ditch windows.
I'm going to stay on 10 with current hardware a while longer. I could sidegrade to 11 right now, but it's too much effort.
