Is the internet dying rapidly
If you’ve been a hermit here in these boards long enough, grab your tin foil please.

These discussions always have a bot account disagreeing and spewing their horrible POV now.
Like I said if you’ve been here long enough and weren’t paying after so well you would have thought the bot commenters went away.. no. Really the bots have just gotten better. And do you know how to get a thread with a REAL conversation with NOBODY disagreeing now Is to miss spell everything, their scrubbers aren’t looking for misspellings, this is a proven hypothesis from a few years ago I’m sure it works even now.

And even now in the big 2025, the internet is almost dead. Horrible pointless arguments just because, the crucifix of free thinkers and different ideas, the end of agreeing to disagree.

Congrats if you used the internet before 2022. Everyone else enjoy your censored, monetized, advertiser friendly corpse of what was enjoyed by many.

Existing users who care are now standing in the trajectory of the falling tree.

Welcome to your internet Police-state. It already happened.

Over 70% of the interactions on Twitter is bots
They recently had a purge and one of the head architects at Twitter said they removed over 1.7 million bot accounts

Every year it just gets worst
Censorship goes up, yet moderation goes down

They claim it's free speech, yet I kind of feel like if I see someone making a terrorist level threat and I report them for it, but the automated systems, because it's always an automated system, sees he changed the i to a 1 in "kills" and then declares nothing is wrong... something is probably wrong.

And the misinformation.
Right this moment all the big political accounts are pushing that Hamas murdered all the female hostages and that's why there were only men released recently.
But all the female hostages were released months ago, children too.
So they're all lying. A massive coordinated lie, trying to get people to stay outraged at Hamas, and want Israel to attack again.
And it's all based on lies.

The AI has just gotten so stupid.
Facebook making fake people.
They had ads in a subway station then was promoting an AI companion necklace to be your "friend"
They're trying to get rid of human interaction.

I seriously hate how everything just sucks now.
Pre-Covid things were normal.
Even during covid things were still pretty normal. Some changes but adapting was easy.
Then once covid ended... everything just started going downhill.
maybe we all r just part of a greater simulation --> we all could be bots

Yep more or less half of all the internet traffic are bots atm. Also before the 2030's it could go upwards to 80-90% bots everywhere, compared to humans in the internet. :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Did you know up to 70% of the content posted in the Off Topic forum is AI generated?

Empirically.
I think one of the Reddit owners said that during political events they would see as much as 90% of activity from bots which is easy to see all the time when posts with less than 100 comments reach the top of popular with 60,000-100,000 upvotes.
