i got weirded out because everyone on the forums seems like they are like 30+, so i felt really young.

Make friends at work or take up a hobby where you can meet others, tbh as well i dont think you are too old to go to a bar 36 is fine, unless you are talking about a club environment but even then i dont see a problem, goodluck OP <3
