Eggs and animal entrails are "yucky" but very tasty.
because they taste good in pies, soups, pizza and with a roast. delicious fungi
your vegetables grow in poop too.. what do you think fertiliser is?
growing in does not equate being made off.

annimals are making and full of said poop.
if you start thinking like that.. you cannot eat anything.

sure we not eat the poop itself as it has no nutricious value, and many bacteria that can make us sick.
but the mushroom has good nutriocious value and few bacteria...

OP seems to mention "poop" a lot....

that said, fungus grows everywhere, not just in cow patties and such.

anywho, have a nice day
Why do you eat junk food?

Mushrooms are good for you. Junk food is not.

in development psychology that obsession seems to better fit the anal phase.
so I guess that OP has has a development disorder that hails back to that phase.

Mushrooms are chitinous, much like insects. Chitin is good for the digestive and immune systems, and I'm definitely not getting my chitin intake from insects. :Fangtooth:

My favorite mushroom is a morel. They dont grow in ♥♥♥♥, ive also been kind of curious to try the "chicken of the woods" mushroom. They dont grow in ♥♥♥♥.

Yeah your supermarket mushrooms are grown in mostly cow ♥♥♥♥, like most produce was back in the day, but its sterilized and more of a compost than a poop.

I still eat those too, but im not some savage, they get a good rinse under the water and i usually pull the stems out. Gd bomb on a homemade pizza or home made salisbury steak. I havent eaten in 24 hours, so i better not think about food to much rofl.

So I can swallow them and grow more in my intestines. Infinite food hack.

the standard supermarkt mushroom : white button mushrooms.. are grown in a mixture of horse droppings, and straw. and until 10 years ago was the ONLY variant sold in supermarket

=> the second type thats still very common the brown button mushrome are grown the same way.. only it is common to add also gipsum to the staw and horse manure mixture

***the more rare types (that only have started to enter supermarkets basicly the last decade and are thus a new product for sale :

portobello : grown on horse manure, but mixed with peat (no straw this time)

oyster mushroom/abalone : grown on sawdust, sometimes with added peat
nameko : grown on sawdust
shiitake : also grown on sawdust
Shimeji : also grown on sawdust

=========================
so you see you can pick variants that are never grown on manure at all..
and NONE are grown of cow manure.. that is not suited for mushroom growth..
cow manure is always used to be injected in soil to fertilise vegetables
mushrooms only use horse manure.
