Realistically I would be acting as if nothing happens and simply be observing what the rest of the people do. Most importantly I would keeping my eyes on the ground, on the horizon. If crazy ♥♥♥♥ on the skies - keep your eyes for funny business on the ground.

A problem with this scenario is that space around the Earth is full of spaceships and for these "aliens" to be attacking the surface, they have to have permission from higher government. Its very unlikely they broke through the blockade, the defenses around the Earth so its kinda safe bet these aliens are locals.

If they are not locals however, I think that gives jurisdiction for other advanced aliens to interfere. So there is nothing to worry about. A genuine ET invasion by a true alien force. It might actually be one of the best things to happen in 13k years. The government may actually be begging the most powerful military forces in this galaxy to interfere on their behalf. Imagine if they get so desperate that they even seek extra-galactics for help to preserve their little cattle farm ?
