or their accountants have done the sums and realised its not worth their effort vs reward.
Same reason why Disney likes to lose money.
Because CEO's are shortsighted and out of touch with reality. A good product for a reasonable price always makes for a profitable venture, but that is lost to them.

Sadly Linux is underrated, and underused, there is the explanation
i dont know
they can probably do without the five copies linux users would buy vs the effort it would take to port it
Maybe WINE works?

CEOs are encouraged with big bonuses for being shortsighted

Probably because of their anti cheat that while it wont wont stop cheaters, it does stop linux users from playing at all sadly :TOIlogo:
They don't, that's the thing.
You can lead a pig to lubricant, but you can't make it f*ck.

This isn't news. The secure boot/TPM thing for their anti-cheat was known before the beta last month.

https://www.ea.com/en/games/battlefield/battlefield-6/news/secure-boot-information

Strange how no one mentioned CoD, since their anti-cheat never worked on Linux for years before they added secure boot/TPM requirements back in August.
