Question for Western folk...
Why are your people leaving places like California, because they say they hate the economics and politics, but then go to other states to invest, and then bring their friends to ruin that states economics and politics...?

It might sound rash or hateful, and I'm not or am I trying to be that way, but many companies and much of the housing market in the Midwest are being cannibalized by Western investment agencies, or people who brought their businesses here.

A sudden shift from Red and Purple to entirely Blue in the corporate and political sphere isn't good, and the same would apply vice versa.
I'm a Libertarian, so don't get your panties all bunched up defending it.
It destroys the economy and upsets the market, allows corruption, fraud and laundering to happen a lot more frequently (Sight 9 Billion dollar tax fraud in Michigan), it pushes people out of employment and may even limit their opportunities due to nepotistic ideas... I mean, the list goes on. It allows for class destabilization where certain demographics get bombarded based on a set criteria that either makes the state money, or suppresses those who are at odds with their ideas and motives.

It's deep and requires being fairly free from bias to talk about. Curious on thoughts.

Here's a paradox. In 1861, a New York newspaper reported that Texans were fleeing to California. And so, we really have to ponder a few things.

It's like herding cattle, this I am aware of.. But what does the common man see, think or feel? I think that's where we begin to find the resolution.

What doesn't bother me is them leaving California per se.

The problem is them bringing their politics with them. How easily they forget the biggest reason they left the state ... poor leadership. 49 out of 50 times that poor leadership is due to Liberal politicians.

Glad I left my Liberal leanings behind decades ago when I identified them as the lowlife scum they are.

It sucks to say that it's truthfully not party exclusive, but it's been a pretty common benefactor to what most would consider nationwide issues. Katie Porter is the poster child of what many democratic politicians and billionaires think and feel. The country has been under cyber and economic warfare for awhile, but my theory is that many people aren't even aware that they contribute to it. Red or Blue.

Simplest answer: SIN.

It all boils down to SIN.

If I was fleeing Cali I wouldn't go to Texas, that place literally froze over and had a huge infrastructure failure. The people that didn't die had huge power bills. Check out the Texas 2021 PUC controversy. $9,000 dollars per megawatt. Imagine living through a hellish winter storm where food and water are scarce and get hit with a $7,000 bill.

It sucks, because Texas does have decent living opportunities for those with certain skill-sets and the right attitude. Just between the crime in parts of cities, winter being a big issue with global weather shifting, and summers still being miserable... Meh. Can get much of what's to offer there and more living a bit off the cost in Florida.

Other places have had ice storm infrastructure failures that were larger and more deadly. The news is a misinformation engine that creates delusive and misinformed obedient billionaire servants.

Yes and no. For Texas, it was more about ice damage, road accidents and the insurance hike from all of the injuries of people slipping and hurting themselves.
