how steam would become better
change 1 : if a game releases an update that renders it unplayable on older OS that it originally was sold for it mandatory must make and keep avialable
the latest working version for that older os
**you have no right to recieve ANY update nor acces to ANY expantions, but you do have the right to play every game on the os you bought it on forever.

change 2 if steam drops an OS version **you have for all the games purchased before that date the right to demand an .iso download that is an standalone drm free installer and launcher that will work on that OS
**steam can demand personal data to ID you if they don't already have that before alowing this.
-> this download will not need any internet nor steam to be installed, and launched.. but you may need the newer os now supported by steam and an internet connection to download it.
-> this download will have a baked in ID code.. meaning if you share this installer on a file sharing site (which you are not allowed as it is a home copy) you can be sued for all the damage you delt.
it is not to be shared with others.
**this installer and launcher also will scan and only work on the OS you selected (which must be an OS now no longer supported by steam)

change 3 you now have the right on 2d hand trade of games.
-any externally bound code can just be unbound from your account than after unbinding be registered with another accound.
-any game bought on steam can be turned in an inventory item that than can be traded on the steam market

change 4 steam will ban regional pricing.. developers now can set 1 global price before taxes in usd.. and every user from every nation pays that same amount, converted in their local currency + local taxes.

change 5 the 30 day right to return will no longer have a 4 hour playing limit it be 30 day right of return period.

change 6 Game prices will be capped.. meaning, that the price the developer sets at original posting can NOT be increased by them after that original listing (they still can lower it but than they cannot raise it back)
***on top of this 50% of any sale amount must be made permanent. (so a 50 euro game at 50% discount.. for 25 euro.. will automaticly be lowered to a baseprice of 37.50 after the sale.
-all sale prices must also be available a minimum of 7 days (so that all users can properly use them) -> no more flash sales.
-> thus returning to BASE prices dropping over time as should be the case

change 7 steam sale cards are no longer perisable but will last forever... and instead of every sale a new serie launched.. you now get randomly a card of any of the previous sales series in permanent form.

change 8 all steamcards of all gamescan be bought for steampoints, any card of any game for 1000 points, any foil card for any game for 5000 points.

If the game is interesting, the price doesn't matter at all.
