Star Trek, its like Star Wars but better.

Assume all eras of Star Trek are about to collide.
There is going to be a mega war every race, culture, species is going to be caught up in it.

There is only one guarantee :
You will be in it.

Which faction / race / species / whatever will you pick to be in this coming war?
You can pick same as somebody else.
But it YOU who is choosing, you cannot choose to be Kirk for example but you can choose to be under Kirk's command as 3rd technician for vending machines or blue shirt with highest casualty % despite more Red Shirts biting it.
So no Kaelos or Martok or Galron but you can choose to serve under them etc etc.

Note : the mega powerful stuck up bored entities of The Original Series are not playable.
They are probably the ones who caused it because they got bored of playing billiards with blackholes.

Q and his lot are also not choosable.

I am going to choose personally for me :
A member of KHAAAARN! 's crew.

Whats the actual name for Gainah's people... the ones who fought the Q. What power do they have that Q fears them so much?

I presume changlings from DS9 are out too.

So the only logical choice is Vulcan.

Changelings are fine.

Just Q and the as mentioned Self Styled Gods of TOS ie the people who put Kirk and Gorn against each other and so on.

Q and Aureans aka Guinan's people- i looked it up and still got spelling wrong now.

They had a cold war and I don't know the details.
However it might suggest how Q can do all the stuff they can do.
Because Aureans have the extra sensory skills as instinct and can see beyond 'reality' as we know it. So maybe they can see a weakness nobody else can in the Q.

Guinan's people are ok but Q are not because well I am sure they turned up all over TOS as those Deity type figures.

Vulcans - an interesting choice, allow me to raise my eyebrow in a poor Spock impression.
