Soldiers and other government employees are almost certain to miss their October 15th paychecks now that the Senate has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off for a long weekend without ending the shutdown; given the number of American families that live paycheck-to-paycheck, the knock-on effects of those missed checks will be significant.
