Why here and not BF6 community? Because after the beta I once dared say "I wish we could turn off female voices" and I was perma banned for hate speech. EA's own attack dogs perma banned me for having an opinion that is shared by countless (there have been daily posts about this, but mine is post release). Anyway I can't even get unbanned because I don't know how, steam mods say I need to contact EA. EA site makes me talk to an Indian bro.

OK, so on to the problem

Bro HALF the soldiers in this game are women (yes, I counterd) and some classes are femlocked (support for NATO is femlocked). Not only can't we turn off the super annoying, high pitched, teen girl voices. We're forced to play as them ..

Let me make this clear, I love women, I'm not against women in the army, I'm ultra proud of my girl cousin in the army, my country literally has national female war heroes that not only fought but also commanded both men and women into battle. My problem isn't that I do not like women or don't think women can be soldiers or badass or whatever.

But as someone that has done roughly 15 years of OSINT, I have seen have seen maybe 3 women in combat. Women in combat roles is extremely rare, that's why when there are those select few women that volunteer at a chance of sacrificing themselves for the greater good we all honor those women extra hard. Because none of us expect them to take on that role and they voluntarily do so and that demands a different level of respect.

But the thing is, in this game half the fn soldiers are women. And then on top of that, the voices of the female soldiers. Just like in BFV are like they've been intentionally chosen to destroy any type of immersion. They are super high pitched teen voices.

So, I'm shooting sh up in the battlefield, bullets whiz by. A tank explodes 20 meters from the place I'm taking cover and a helicopter flies over. Meanwhile I hear a 12 year old girl scream at me "moove soldier, get to that objectuvuhh, asappuhh"

On top of that I feel like this is 1000% a bait and switch. Bro I've played the beta for 80+ hours. The female voices were NOT this bad. They weren't great. But at least they weren't this bad. Why the fook do the women in this game sound like little girls bro?

Anyway, this and the disappointment because the game has a lot of stuff locked behind dumb challenges again, kinda really ruined the launch for me. I have no doubt I'm going to have a lot of fun when I start playing it (or I hope at least) but this really, really bothers me dude. Remember how in BFV you'd have to "kill 200 enemies while ADSing in a prone position, on a clif side, when the wind blows north and the enemy is 30 meters from the capture flag, the morning sun's rays hit the dew drops on the autum tree's leaves?

Support is my favorite class so far too .. and now I'm forced to play as Gabriella "the stoic" Fernandez or whatever the fk. (yes some of them have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nick names. And the lady gets the stoic title xD which is hilarious considering feminist keep saying stoicism is sexist etc)
