sounds like most of my birthdays for the last 6 years, minus the latest one more or less.

nothing, they kept their distance and held whatever evil spirit possesses them for nearly 16 hours.

I went to sleep upset at the end of that 16 hours, though. they couldn't hold it any longer.

Have you tried talking with them? And if that doesn't work, have you tried exorcising them?
