China to host global women’s summit, with President Xi Jinping to deliver keynote speech
Summit on October 13-14 aims to push ‘global pursuit of gender equality and women’s development’, China’s foreign ministry says.

China has released two books on women by Xi, featuring selected speeches and articles covering issues ranging from gender equality to traditional family values, and instructing China’s women’s federation not to become like a “foreign feminist organisation”.

Chinas government is socially conservative, so I highly doubt that it's sincere.
