this is my third day posting here- the game-specific boards are cancer. frankly this is probably the longest I've ever been on the steam discussions in 18 years.

the reason is to be annoying, it's only ever one person who does it en masse between different accounts uwu

It happens when somebody gets banned, or gets BTFO'd in one of the political threads.

A lot of the times threads get locked when extremists take over.

By the time people post actual statistics, data and reputable sources and the other side simply goes "nooo fake news" because the truth puts a bad light on their idol, there's no conversation to be had. It's pointless.

Not saying this about OP but you do notice a pattern in the threads that actually get locked.
