I remember a year or so back there was a mod here that was openly mocking people because nobody could do anything about it. It reinforced my opinion that mods should be uninvolved with discussions, not be gamers and be completely unbiased. Strictly there to uphold the rules. I mean, it's like in the Sopranos when Tony tells Artie that he shouldn't talking to guests while they're eating because nobody likes it.

there haven't been any mods posting on this forum other than copy and paste nonsense for about 7 years. i think you were trolled.

There are game hub mods that spend their time in OT trolling, insulting, berating, and causing all kinds of trouble for users. Its common, and highlights the fact that anyone can be a moderator, but not everyone who is a moderator is a good person with sound judgement and unbiased participation among the users they want to control.

I remember they made a big post about it saying they were a moderator here on off topic, but now that I think about it, I don't remember if I ever looked at their profile, because I think it says when people are moderators? Or they have like the little valve tag on their posts? I don't think they had that so maybe I done been had!

It was here on OT. I wish I remembered their username but it was about the only time I ever saw them post. Thinking back though with some of the characters we have here, I kind of wouldn't be surprised if it was supposed to be a parody and I didn't get it because it just seemed like a genuinely unpleasant person and those aren't exactly rare here.
