A question for people who enjoy fishing for leisure.
How would you feel if you were enjoying a nice meal at your favorite restaurant, and suddenly you were violently yanked out of the building into the nearest pond by your mouth? And then the fish who yanked you proceeded gawk at your size while you struggled to hold your breath, before tossing you back at the restaurant and expecting you to go about the rest of your day like nothing happened?

I would think I just met God.

Perhaps that's what those fish think. Who are we to deny them that pleasure?
Yeah, so. What?
I see where you're going with this: Fish don't feel pain like humans; they also aren't cognitive "intelligent" thinkers; they are creatures of instinct. What humans do in comparison to what other animals of nature does is merciful.

That would be the coolest story to tell to my neighbors. My hand prolly would be sore from a neverending onslaught of high fives that ppl gave after listening to the story
Am I just regular me? Or do I have the cognitive capacity of a fish?
A question for people who enjoy christmas trees:

How would you feel if aliens suddenly appeared in your house, chopped your feet off at the ankles, teleported you up to their mothership, stuck your leg stumps on stakes in a vat full of blood, and draped you with tacky flashing lights while you died slowly for the next month?
Some people fish to live.

- and sadly some just wastefully live to fish.
A question for people who eat the bugs:

How would you feel if crickets suddenly pulled you out of the nail salon as you were getting your nails manicured and painted, and then you were suddenly drowned in boiling water and then thrown into a stir-fry and consumed?

There is a big difference between:
A. Catching them just for simple leisure/pleasure and then throwing them back.
&
B. Catching them and then actually eating them to stay alive.

I'd much prefer to do B. Fish to live...
but it's just quicker & easier to buy some good wild caught at a store or have some at a nice restaurant.
Thus to all vegans and vegetarians: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAKJ1-OTrYE
I can't get past someone gawking at my size... :)
Does the fish yank me by the lips?
