I Have Decided To Give Up PC/Mobile Games
To focus on my console games instead (PS4/Switch). Gaming laptops are more expensive than consoles and I have to bring a plethora of wires and attachments with me if I want some couch time with my cat to play on PC. I also need my Phone for important adult obligations and it takes a while to constantly charge its battery if I'm playing games on it. I think this will be a better step forward for myself.

everyone will miss you in the gaming scene. what are you gonna do with the extra free time. read a book? i know its not tv. as its lack of content. amazon/netflix?
It's no problem to use wireless mouse and keyboard for gaming from the couch. Keyboard in the lap and mousepad on the arm rest is stable for many games, and a rotating tray that's wide enough for them when extra-stability is needed for the rest.

A power strip or USB hub with a long cord halfway between the TV stand and couch is good for charging devices and/or swapping USB dongles doesn't get in the way too much.

I've tried that before, it's still awkward for me and doesn't feel worth it.
