My bullet hole is healing you wanna see it?
yes been going on for centuries look at the mid-evil paintings form Jeroen Bosch the younger and the bible.
No it shouldnt be either.
Not since like, 2002.
Up until modern times, people were subjected to gory things all the time. Just making lunch required killing a chicken, plucking, gutting, and dismembering it.

I bet some people would use shock content to get interactions and engagement, so while it isn't normal you can probably find it easily, just like other types of provocative content

Very few people in cities made their own lunch this way, and this is where the greatest interest in violence often was.
What do you mean, OP? Like randomly just showing them gore? No. That isn’t nice to do.

If I wanna show someone something, for example I would say “I wanna show you a funny video. Wanna watch?” Then he/she will give his/her answer.

Even if it’s a violent video game I would say “There is this cool video game I wanna show you. Be warned it’s a bit graphic and gorey.”

You gotta be a little more cognitive when showing people something. Always ask for consent.
Here's a near-foolproof test for whether it's okay to expose people to x: Show x to your mother first. If your mother reacts badly, it's probably not a good idea to expose people to x.
depends on person id imagine

Depends on the type of gore.

I think that it’s good to expose people to gore-heavy footage from war zones of both soldiers and civilians, as it might work well to cool-off at least some of the people inching for war who know it only from clean and heroised movies or video games.
The British Special Air Service, the SAS, during training used to dig a trench 5' deep (a bit over 1 1/2 meters) deep, fill it with a dump truck full of pig and sheep's blood and entrails, then have the trainees wade in it for 5 or 6 hours to accustom them to being covered in blood and gore that they may encounter on a battlefield.

They stopped because of a decline in overall butchery sourcing. Even the toughest trainees were getting sick from fill that was in the warehouse one day longer than usual. Fun fact.

They are also accused of numerous war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan, so they hardly count as “normal” or anything close to it. More like bunch of desensitised murderers, with this kind of exposition being a part of the process of creating them.
It's kind of hard not to after your face has been sledge hammered or you have had a fight with 15 people.
