have a nice day
Jews : Generalizing of course, the Jews as a cultural/ethnic group have an overly insular culture and a siege mentality that tends to reinforce antisemitism and conspiracism regarding them. It's unhealthy. That being said, they've always valued intellectual pursuits, which I immensely admire. No other minority can claim as many scientific discoveries relative to its size.
Judaism : As a religion, I actually prefer it to Christianity and Islam overall. Though its texts show their age, Judaism doesn't have a concept of eternal hell, is more open to modern reinterpretation, and is more concerned with the material world than the one supposedly beyond.
Israel : As a state, I'm not a fan of Israel, though I'm not as harsh towards it as most Western leftists. I think they've secured their now-irreversible right to exist by force, which I have no choice but to recognize, however Israel has arguably been crueler in victory than in war. Also, the country is now starting to abandon its democratic, secular, liberal identity and no longer makes any pretenses of wanting peace with its neighbors. A lot of these problems come from the siege mentality I've mentionned, though it's also due to exceedingly bad moves on the part of Arab leaders and nations.
I also wont be looking at replies because all I do is plant my own understanding and leave. I dont seek validation. good day and God bless
So who knows.
I also like the Star of David representing the unification of polar opposites.
Also, maybe the true Israelite's / Hebrews (a collection of slaves picked out of Africa and the middle east) could well be the Ethiopians. Which is also where the remnants of the arc of the covenant reside.
But I'm not entirely sure. It's hard to do, but you can sit on the fence on all these tough / divisive issues.
And ultimately how can't ya'll just get along for once?
Israel is a real state in the centre of Palestine,or something right? She has a religious right in the Torah, right? And Palestinians have a historical claim, right?
It's a real tough issues and seems very religiously inspired. I remain firmly on the fence and merely offer; please, for the love of God, stop fighting each-other and rebuild!
