Persona 5 Royal VS AC Shadows.

I'm currently looking for a new game, and right now I have my eye on Persona 5 Royal and AC Shadows.

I'm open to any genre, but the games I've completed or enjoyed in the past tend to share some common elements, such as open-world gameplay, freedom in how you play, character customization, or maybe mini-games. Some of these titles include Tsushima, Spider-Man, The Witcher 3, Skyrim, Hitman, GTA San Andreas, and GTA V.

My preference leans toward AC Shadows, but some friends have suggested trying Persona 5 Royal because of its strong story, engaging gameplay, and vibrant world.

Do you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Persona 5 played it is good, but the big bang boss 3/4 way through is so hard i stopped there

Play a real Shin Megoomi Tensay game like Nocturne or Strange Journey.

Assassins Creed Black Flag, for its open world and lots to explore and collect. Customisation isn't all that but its a great pirate / swashbuckler game.

It does suck you out of the pirate world and into the office world occasionally which at first is a bit oi! I'm a pirate! not lets play office man!
The bulk is free roaming and hit what you like and do lots of side quests and so on.

Cannot compare to other AC games because not played them.

I love taking on ships and doing the mega swashbuckler swinging across, jumping all over, and choosing blades and pistoles / muskets its a blast.

Persona 5 Royal easy. If you like that style of JRPG, then Persona 5 is one of the best.

AC Shadows is not good. AC games have not been good since Black Flag. Hell, Ubisoft games have not been good since Black Flag.

i loved the first 2 AC games. That said, I will ALWAYS choose an Atlus game over an Ubisoft game. Hell, over the games of most developers.

Totally agree, I've played it 10 years ago, and i really love it!

P5 is a far superior game, but completely different genre would be hard to compare.

If it's open world game AC odyssey and origins would be a lot cheaper. Ubisoft is not known for innovative gameplay.
