Should political threads be against the rules?
I think yes because I'm tired of seeing them. 🙄 Go to reddit or twitter or better yet the real world or something we need to keep this fun.

No, but they should make a containment forum for it. Make a politics forum, and make it an automatic 3 day ban (non-escalating) to post politics outside of that forum.
Depends on whether “everything is political “ is true or not.

You can just ignore the political threads and post about things that interest you y'know.

I think there will be some wiggle room depending on the topic, but the major topics would (and should) get flagged immediately.

You know I am really sick of seeing people complain about them when all they need to do is block the person who creates the Political Thread.

I am also bored of people complaining about other people allowed to talk about what they want to.
Y'know you could make a topic about something to do with games or fashion instead you decided to make a topic about free speech vs your want to suppress any talk of what you don't like.

-yeah i know the irony.

I've been around since the SPUF times.

Trust me when I tell you, having politics is way better than the alternative, you don't want that.

Tell us more.
Yes indeed, and I am already at my limit to the point of blocking and reporting those once annoyances are now major problems to all Steam Forums as we know it.
No.. when they were we had them indirectly anyway.
it was before ("no politics, religion, or prone to huge arguments"), they removed it, we complained about it.... and now, here we are years later.

yes, they should bring back the rule, assuming they "hold rules to definition", not "interpretation".

but, if a game/developers choose to push said something, into their games, they then invite anything against the rules, to be discussed, despite any dislikes of it, as well as allowing consumer rights to be expressed in game hubs, positive or otherwise (within civility).

anywho, have a great day peeps

They are allowed because they are mostly hateful.
