I would invite the ones that I like during my journey through Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Orre, Sinnoh, Unovamerica, Alola, Galar, Hisui, and Paldea.

Its big but hey it's called a birthday party for a reason.
...Unfortunately i'm gonna need a bigger cake due to size portions is different for each species.
...Cause I know for a fact that I got a Snorlax on my team in Kanto and a giant legendary lizard devil looking dragon in Sinnoh, Zekrom, Nebby and giant cockroach lady thing, and Heavy Weapons Bike.

I didn't go to Kalos so I'm buying Legends Z-A to make up for it.
...Also XY is mostly disappointing despite the large amount of 3D models they made for all the Pokemon at the time.
